University of Toccoa Falls Prepares for Welcome Week 2026

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (August 5, 2026) – Each fall, the University of Toccoa Falls welcomes new and returning students through Welcome Week, a long-standing tradition that helps students transition into campus life while building community and connection for the academic year ahead.

Welcome Week begins with Move-In Day, as residential students check in, complete final enrollment steps, receive orientation materials, and settle into campus. Faculty and staff volunteers assist families with unloading vehicles. The day concludes with Community Chapel at 4 p.m., where students and their families gather for a special time of worship.

Throughout the week, students connect with college administrators, faculty, and student leaders while participating in Orientation and Major Mixers, which introduce them to their academic programs and campus resources. Social events, including the Back-to-School Bash, a hike to Little Falls, trivia night, and dodgeball tournaments, provide opportunities to build friendships and foster a sense of belonging.
