UTF Presents Annual Music Faculty Showcase

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (August 28, 2026) – The University of Toccoa Falls will present its Music Faculty Showcase on September 4, 2026, featuring performances by faculty members Dr. George Dougherty, trumpet; Dr. You Ju Lee, piano; Kelly Birgfeld, vocals; and Dr. Desmond Ikegwuonu, piano. Joining Dr. You Ju Lee is special guest performer Paul Warner, cellist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Additional pianists to perform are Beth Newey and Nikolai Peek.

The showcase will take place in the Music Department band room (M104) at 4 p.m., featuring a range of pieces from classical to jazz. The event is part of the University’s ongoing commitment to cultivating excellence in music education and providing meaningful opportunities for the campus community to engage with the performing arts.

The community is welcome to attend and experience an afternoon celebrating music, artistry, and the talents of the University of Toccoa Falls faculty.
