UTF Welcomes Community to Spiritual Emphasis Week

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (August 26, 2026) – University of Toccoa Falls will host its annual Spiritual Emphasis Week September 1–3, sponsored by the Office of Spiritual Formation. The public is invited to join students, faculty, staff, and friends in the Grace Alford Performing Arts Center for this special time of worship.

This year’s guest speaker will be Jon Mitchell, pastor of Grace Monroe. Pastor Mitchell will bring messages focused on faith and spiritual growth throughout the three-day event entitled “Hearts On Fire.” Rev. Jon Mitchell has an amazing heart and passion for the Kingdom of God, and he desires to see lives ignited by the personal presence of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Much of his passion and calling began at Toccoa Falls College (c/o 2003). For over 18 years, Jon has traveled across the US and around the world, actively mentoring, training, and equipping church leaders to create sustainable cultures of prayer and renewal. For most of those years, he helped develop and lead the College of Prayer, a global ministry that is now serving churches in every nation on earth. Jon lives in Monroe, GA (metro-Atlanta), where he is a pastor at Grace Monroe, a church in pursuit of God’s heart for the restoration of all things. He loves spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Tuesday, September 1 – Services at 10 a.m. & 7 p.m.

Wednesday, September 2 – Services at 10 a.m. & 7 p.m.

Thursday, September 3 – Service at 10 a.m.
